Delete your Wyro account
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This page is for Wyro Wallet by Wyro Labs, Inc. (Google Play package `app.wyro`). It explains how to request that your account and associated data are deleted.
Wyro is a self-custodial wallet. Deleting our records does not erase blockchain transactions.
How to request deletion
Complete both steps if you used social features or push notifications. Step 1 alone only clears data on that device.
- In the Wyro app. Open Profile → Delete Profile. This permanently removes the local wallet, PIN, and keys stored on that device. If you have more than one profile, delete each one you want removed. We cannot recover a deleted seed phrase.
- Email us. Write to contact@wyro.app with the subject Delete my Wyro account. Include your social handle and/or public wallet address so we can find your records. We may ask you to confirm you control that address.
What we delete
After we verify the request, we delete:
- Social profile (display name, handle, photo, bio)
- Posts, replies, and images we host
- Push notification token (FCM)
- Wallet-session and profile records we store on our servers
- Waitlist or support emails tied to the same request, where we can match them
What we cannot delete
- On-chain data. Transfers, swaps, perps, stake, earn, and other blockchain activity stay on the network. We do not control those ledgers and cannot erase them.
- Public copies. Other users may still have seen or copied posts you published before deletion.
- Legal holds. We may keep a limited record if the law requires it (fraud, tax, dispute, or a lawful request), then delete it when that period ends.
Timing
We process email requests within 30 days. Residual backups may remain for up to 90 days, then are removed.
